Terms of use

The agreement, in plain sentences.

These terms cover use of MicBridge, an audio interview service provided by Techvora.

Last updated 11 September 2026

Accounts

Station accounts are created by invitation from an administrator; there is no public sign-up. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account. Tell your administrator promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

An administrator may change your role or disable your account. Disabling an account ends its active sessions immediately.

Guests

Guests join through an invitation link and do not hold accounts. A guest link grants access to a single interview and can be revoked at any time by the host.

Recording and consent

You are responsible for the lawfulness of the recordings you make. Recording laws differ between jurisdictions, and MicBridge asking for consent on screen does not relieve you of your own obligations.

MicBridge requires every participant present to agree before recording can start, and it shows a recording indicator throughout. Do not attempt to circumvent either.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use MicBridge to record anyone without their knowledge.
  • Do not use it for unlawful, harassing, or deceptive purposes.
  • Do not attempt to access interviews, recordings or accounts that are not yours.
  • Do not probe, scan or interfere with the service or the infrastructure it runs on.
  • Do not resell or sublicense access without a written agreement.

Your content

Recordings made through MicBridge belong to you. Techvora claims no ownership of them and does not use them for any purpose beyond storing and delivering them to you.

Because recordings are deleted automatically at the end of the retention period your administrator has set, downloading anything you need to keep is your responsibility. That deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

Availability

MicBridge depends on third-party infrastructure for real-time audio, recording and storage. It is provided as it stands, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, and no service-level commitment applies unless one has been agreed separately in writing.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Techvora is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of MicBridge, including lost recordings, lost airtime or lost revenue. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes

These terms may change as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
